How To Be Healthy - Ways To Live Longer - Part 1

There are some surprising ways how to be healthy and live longer that you can implement to add years to your life. Benjamin Franklin said, “Early to bed, and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.”

Getting the rest that you need not only gives your muscles the time they need to stay healthy, but it’s also important for good mental health, too. Without the proper amount of sleep, it’s harder for the brain to function and many studies have been done on the effects of sleep deprivation and how it affects judgment and the ability to make right decisions.


Of course you know that a regular exercise routine gives you an edge over those who don’t exercise or who exercise in a hit and miss fashion. Exercise works out your muscles, helps relieve stress and gets your heart pumping.

Of the ways to live longer, make sure that you maintain healthy relationships. Being in a relationship with a toxic person can drain you mentally, emotionally and physically and all three will take a toll on your health.

If you absolutely can’t get out of having a toxic person in your life, try not to engage with them on a regular basis. If you live life in the fast lane, get out. There’s no rush on having it all today. You’ve heard the phrase, “Take the time to stop and smell the roses” and it’s true. Slow down.
